Training Course

FASET Safety Net Inspectors Course

A course designed for health and safety managers/inspectors, site managers, project managers and site supervisors who need to be aware of the standards of safety net rigging best practice for ongoing inspection, control and management purposes. It is a requirement for rigged safety net systems to be inspected every seven days or following adverse weather conditions. This can be costly if an independent rigging company is used. Considerable savings can be made if these inspections are carried out in house.

Successful candidates will have the knowledge to plan for and manage the installation of safety nets. Identify faults/risks and specify a remedial action to mitigate those risks and understand what to expect from a safety netting company prior to work commencing. A certificate valid for three years will be issued.

The course can be held at our centre or at your premises, a suitable classroom is a necessity.

The course typically runs for 5-6 hours for a maximum of 15 candidates. Candidates are provided with a training reference manual and refreshments.
