NVQ Assessment for Safety Net rigger & occupational work supervision

Want to become a fully qualified safety net rigger?

These are the steps you need to follow:

  • Attend the FASET Riggers Course
  • Gain experience (normally 100-200 hrs) Logged & Supervised site Rigging Experience
  • Enrol onto the Safety Net Rigging NVQ Level 2 Diploma
  • Achieve the award 
  • Apply for the Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card

Once in possession of the Blue Safety Net Rigger CSCS card you are able to prove your competence. You will also be able to supervise trainees & sign off their work, helping them towards their own NVQ. Inspect installed safety net systems.

Now you are a fully qualified Safety Net Rigger. Why not get the Gold CSCS card for Supervisors?

In order to qualify for the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision you must have an NVQ level 2 in Safety Net Rigging. Consequently the award will be assessed in your own occupational area by a qualified assessor whom is an industry expert in your occupational area – Safety Net Rigging.

These are the steps you need to follow:

  • Hold a level 2 NVQ in Safety Net Rigging
  • Hold a SSSTS Certificate (Advantageous)
  • Enrol onto the NVQ level 3 Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
  • Achieve the award 
  • Apply for the Gold Supervisor CSCS Card – Safety Net Rigging Endorsed

Once in possession of the Gold Supervisor CSCS card – Safety Net Rigging endorsed, you are able to prove your competence as a Safety Net Rigging Supervisor. Consequently you will be able to supervise trainees & sign off their work, helping them towards their own NVQ. Inspect installed safety net systems. Supervise and manage a team of riggers on-site.
